H1N1 Influenza A (Known as Swine Flu or Novel Influenza) - Website from Ministry of health
Novel influenza A (H1N1) is caused by a new flu virus that was first detected in April, 2009. The virus is infecting people and is spreading from person-to-person. An increasing number of cases are being reported internationally. Influenza A(H1N1) is a respiratory illness, and the symptoms are similar to those of the regular human seasonal flu.

Indian Embassy New building started operation
The new Chancery building of the Embassy of India, Tokyo was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister for External Affairs Shri S. M. Krishna on 4 July, 2009 in the presence of a large number of Japanese dignitaries and members of the Indian community.
